ABOUT US:  We are a group of volunteer charity workers - pensioners and retirees - who donate their time to help the less fortunate by assisting them in every way possible. This web site was specifically designed with that aim in mind. Help is needed all the time!

For Bargain Shopping for you  we have added our lists of current auction items at the OZTION charity friendly auction site. Click here to link to the auction site and register for free. You will find more bargains than you can cope with. Oztion is the 2nd largest Auction site in Australia, only marginally beaten by Ebay, but with a great difference. Besides helping Australian bushfire victims there are multiple ways you can assist the Australian Red Cross.  Just click the image to contact them. Any financial aid should be forwarded directly to the Australian Red Cross.  We support them, you can too.

Caring Charities have placed 'Collection Bins' at certain convenient places where you can donate clean unwanted clothing. Please place only useful items in the drop boxes provided, rubbish and waste should be disposed of properly.
If there aren't any drop bins in or near your area, you can, for convenience sake, forward your items through Australia Post, or a courier, to our collection point at  Ozcharity Channel Collections 196 O'Briens Rd. Figtree NSW 2525
Proceeds from any donated items sales, will go to support the disabled, the handicapped and the intellectually impaired. We believe you will like our site and the free services we provide, namely just good wholesome service, and it's all free to you.

The Smith Family is an independent Australian social enterprise serving the disadvantaged in our community since 1922 without any religious affiliation and offer all sections of the Australian community the opportunity to contribute and be involved. Click on the image to go to their website.

It is actually quite simple. We suggest that you link-up to the charity friendly auction site Oztion Auctions   and look for charity items listed with our user ID dih30crown

You can even donate stamps!    Please, before throwing your envelopes out, tear off any stamps, Australian or World wide,  and send them to us. They will be cleaned and sold for fundraising.

We have been asked by the recipients of used stamps "I.e. Sheltered and Charity Workshops for intellectually impaired and handicapped people"  to thank the participants for their generous contributions.  These are the current top 10 charity minded donors: Newcombe Sales Pty. Items like warm clothing and blankets etc. can be forwarded directly to your favourite charity, or should be placed in collection boxes of your local "Salvation Army", "St. Vincent de Paul", "Life Line" , "City Mission", "Uniting Church", "Smith Family", "Angly Care", "Greenacres Sheltered Work-shop", or any other trusted Australian charity organizations.
By giving your unwanted or second hand goods to the organizations which we support, you're not only being environmentally friendly, you're also greatly helping and comforting those less fortunate and others who are in desperate need for assistance, especially for clothing and shelter. 
If for no other reasons, it will make you feel good having done a good deed for your fellow citizens. How about it? ---- Will you help?

If you receive an email with an appeal from a charity, treat it with caution - it could be scam. Scrupulous scammers take advantage of the demise of victims of earthquakes and other disasters. If it is a charity you would like to support, call them first and find out how you can make a contribution. Never send your confidential information via e-mail.

The Christian Children's Fund of Australia is working with poor and struggling communities in developing countries around the world - offering practical support through projects that will provide for now and the future needs of their children. If you wish to donate to them, contact them directly by clicking on the image and go to their web site. Donate directly to them.  (Don't send any monetary donations to us.)
