I am a volunteer charity workers who donate their time and
efforts to help the most needy by assisting them in every way
possible. It's not only help and assistance for Day Respite
Programs but also to care for frail older people and people with disabilities,
including a means of creative financial help for those needing
(for
instance) repair for their
wheelchairs and can't afford them, aged dementia affected persons who
need shelter, poverty stricken families, the homeless and anybody else who is requiring
attention to ease suffering. Our web site was specifically designed with
that aim in mind, namely to
help those who are suffering, which is a constant need.
You can make a difference by supporting charity, help us
to help those who are
homeless, frail, sick, intellectually handicapped, disabled,
desperate, or in urgent need of proper assistance.

The Aged Care and Community Services operate under the auspices
of the St Vincent de Paul Society. They provide professional services and
volunteer support to people who are homeless and marginalised. These services
include accommodation, meals, access to dental treatment and to doctors,
training and counselling. 'St Vincent de Paul' Aged Care and Community Services
also provide stable support for the frail and aged, housing for homeless young people,
support for women and children escaping domestic violence and supported employment for people with disabilities.
Plus the kids program, is to engage
and train young people to create positive and powerful solutions to
issues impacting their lives. Young people learn it's to improve their
own educational status, become agents for social change, take action
in community projects, and carry positive messages to their peers. And
they have a great time doing it. To contact "Vinnies"

DON'T ABUSE: "Clothing Drop Boxes for
organizations like Life Line, Wesley, City Mission, Salvation
Army, Vinnies, Angly Care and Smith Family have become a dumping ground for everything from
dead animals to busted-up furniture, thus costing
charities around the country thousands of dollars which
would otherwise be better spent helping the needy." Please do the right thing! Please
place only useful items in the drop boxes provided. Rubbish and
waste should be disposed of properly elsewhere. If there aren't any drop bins in
or near your area you can, for convenience sake, forward them
through Australia Post, up to a maximum of 20 kgs, to our collection point at: Ozcharity
Channel
196 O'Briens Rd. Figtree NSW 2525. Proceeds
from any donated items, will go to support the disabled, the
handicapped and the intellectually impaired.
